  2. Wow, where is everyone? I am sure you are all getting ready for the Christmas holiday. I am trying to get myself to drag all that stuff out of the attic. But before I do that I am taking the grands to the pancake breakfast in the morning and then to the Christmas Parade. It is colllllld here too! We are expecting the first snow of the season tomorrow night. Hopefully it will just be a dusting.

Hope you are all doing well and having fun.

  3. HELLO HELLO !!!

Whew... all went well... of course no one evah sells enough... but for my first show working with my new partner, it went well. People coo'd and ahh'd over our stuff... but it was in our home 'village' so not much greenery was spread around.
But big plans were formed and we're marching forward.
PLUS we have a babysitter for tonight! so hubs and i are off to dine by the waterside tonight! woohoo! but i can barely type cause i have on my thickest damn sweater right now. Someone forgot to tell Jack Frost to knock it off! brrr.

Hope everyone is well... and Shana hasn't drowned in puppy duties.
missed ya all while i was busy enhaling glue fumes. *muah*

oh... ((rubbing hands like maniac)) now the fun part... the trees are coming out... will have 4 by the weekend... possibly 5 ... wheeeeeeeee

  4. ok... it's monday now... where'd everybody go??

i'm a bit sad this morning because when we moved alot of my decorations and ornaments got put in the yucky basement... and now i'm finding them destroyed... so frustrated.

but on the brighter side i do have one more tree almost finished... that would bring the count to 3. whoop whoop.

    hope everyone is staying warm!

  6. Sorry for the neglect. I've been crazy busy & Logan got sick Sunday & still hasn't gotten better & I think he shared with mommy. I haven't even touched my laptop since Friday. Hope everyone is staying warm!!

  7. Shana, hope you feel better quickly and that your little guy is on the mend too. This is not the time of year to get sick. One of my grands was sick on Sunday and Monday, it was not pleasant! We are all hoping that none of the rest of the family catches what he had.

  8. I am around...despite the craziness of the holiday's...ALREADY! I miss you ladies! I am sorry you are feeling lonely Keli:( You had all that time with family and babies...it probably seems too quiet now.

Shana-Yucky! Why do kids feel the need to share their diseases?? Hope you and Jordan are on the mend!

Stripey- Bummer! Aside from having to open those boxes in fear that a creepy crawly would come out *shudder* you find broken ornaments...that stinks! Now post some more photos of your trees STAT...we need a little Christmas cheer around here:)

  9. Hi Keli and Shana! I peeked in, but didn't want to leave 3 messages in a row... I guess everyone is busy. *sniff* or has sick little ones.

Today i'm going with my friend to Michael's to pick out flowers for her MIL's wedding boquet. They found out last week that her long time love has cancer and will not make it till xmas, so they have decided to get married on Saturday... I wanted to give them some kind of gift so i am making a boquet and boutinerre for them.

    Have a sparkling day !!

  10. SC, so sorry to hear that someone is going through the stresses of cancer. I hope they have a beautiful ceremony and can enjoy that little time they have left. So sad.

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am gearing up to go shopping with my DIL later today. I hate shopping this time of year, but she convinced me that I needed to go with her...I am such a sucker!!

  11. Keli ~ I know... it stinks monkey balls. Esp. cause the guy's one of those super nice pleasant guys everyone loves. But atleast the boquet and cake topper came out kickass. I made them out of silk flowers so she can keep it forever.

This cold weather has made me a lazy arse though... no drive today... want to stay in my reindeer pj's all day tomorrow. ((wonder what the school mom's would think of me wearing my bright red reindeer pj's to drop off my princess?))

  12. SC, I think you should wear those bright red reindeer pj's everywhere....you would be quite the hit, I am sure. I am laughing just thinking about seeing someone in those pj's.

Glad the bouquet and cake topper turned out, I know she will be pleased to have them.

Shopping with my DIL was not to painful and I finished shopping for the little grands. Now I just have 3 more gift to purchase and I will be done. Still have not decorated the house...just cannot seem to get in the mood! I hope to travel to Boston between Christmas and New Years (weather dependent) to see my babies for a few days. Emily Jane is now 4 weeks old and I am missing all those changes.

  13. Morning Ladies...

No pj's today... but quite possibly all day Sunday. I just love an all day pj day.

I "finished" my shopping for the kidlets on Black Friday... but i don't think i like it. Cause all i am doing now is seeing more i could buy them ... Feel like that kid who has to put a large elastic on her wrist and plunk it everytime i think about chewing my nails... but this is much worse.

As for hubbie shopping... how does one buy stuff for someone when you technically don't have an outside paycheck? Isn't it kinda like he's buying it for himself? Guess i'll just buy some "pretty things" for him, that are really for me... ((wink wink)) A happy hubby is a happy home :)

Well off to take pics of stockings and trees.

Hope you get your trip in Keli... Emily Jane is a lucky little girl for sure !
