Hope everyone is doing well & having a good weekend! Sorry about dropping the blog. I've got a hold on it now though ;) Logan is about over the flu & back to normal. My stepdaughter had knee surgery on Thursday & came to stay the night with me. Having a daughter is so different from having all boys. I got to do her hair & makeup today for her to go home for a Christmas party. I've gotten to do those things with my sister, but the bond with a daughter & her calling me mom is just an awesome experience.
I'm so ready for Christmas this year! I haven't been this excited about the holidays in a long time! How is everyone doing? Update me & catch me back up!
Good Morning friends!! We are rather snowed in this morning...I have to take hubs to the neuro later today...not looking forward to the white knuckle ride:( Hope everyone is safe and has power, it is sad to hear of power outages when it is so bitter cold out. BBL
Stay warm girl's! It is freeezing here today, literally. And snow in Alabama this time of year is unheard of! We are usually gathered around the Christmas tree in short sleeves, ha! Brrr!!
Hello to all from the frozen south. It was 18 degrees this morning with a balmy high today of 33 degrees. Yeah I know some of you live where it is really really cold, but this is the south where we do not usually get this type of cold weather this early in the year (some years it never happens). We had snow last week (only about one inch), weather reports says more snow on Thursday and possibly on Saturday.
SS, I hope your hubby had a good outcome to his appointment. Also, hope the drive was not to bad for you.
Well, I am going to make more soup....about the only thing that warms me up.
Still no Christmas tree at my house. Cannot make myself go up to the attic and drag all that stuff down 2 flights of stairs....I am a grinch in cold weather. lol...
Hey ladies! The drive wasn't bad at all...the office called and they did not have power, so appointment cancelled...I was relieved and bummed at the same time. Hubs is still having seizures at night, it would appear that his med. is not helping. They were supposed to call this morning, but didn't..I wonder if the power is still out? I wish we could just hurry up and get the right med...he has to be 6 months out for driving and it is getting a little stressful with camping season only 6 month away. I DO NOT want to tow the camper:( Anywhoo...thanks for asking, thanks for letting me vent, thanks for just being the sweet group of gals that you are:) Many, many hugs!!
