SS, not a bad week so far. The hubs left yesterday for Colorado for 2 weeks for a hunting trip. Gets pretty quiet round my neck of the woods. Petey is ok. He is such a weird little dude it is hard to know what is up with him. He still seems fine for the most part. Everyone feeling better at your house?
We are on the mend:) Isabelle got it first, so Chloe and I are a day or two behind...congested and runny nose...really more annoying than anything. Glad to hear Petey is ok...I will bet it is pretty quiet at home...you should throw yourself a party just for shit's and giggles:) Make some apps, open some wine and laugh with friends:)
SS, no doubt, throw myself a party!! LOL! Glad you are all on the mend. I hate having a cold. I have been pretty healthy this year, feel grateful for that. :)
** peeking in ** Hello ladies ! went on a long ride to visit with kids sudo mema... she always 'centers' me. Great lady who LURVES her family, and it reminds me that people don't have to BE family to feel like family.
but now i over-caffinated and CANNOT get the image of this 10 doller dresser i saw outside a goodwill today... if i only had a bigger truck... but now it is burning the gerbil's tail up! dammit.... hate how i glomp onto something and just think think think...
bartender, i think i'll have a double...
Anyway, lot's of pretty things to be made, leaves to be raked, and svedka to drink.

SC, come on down! The Svekda will be on ice! lol... Glad you were able to re-center. Ok, little poem for you: Blood does not a family make, it's love that ties the binds. The golden cord that wraps around more than your heart can take. So look in the face of your cherubs, two and remember what you have done. broken the cycle of hurt and pain and given them love true.
thank you. I mean it down to my unshaven legs... thank you. You're poem means the world to me. because right now more than ever those are the words that are holding me upright.
i will overcome this... and build a stronger family... because my cherubs deserve it.

i ordered a cute little pair of winter boots from target.com yesterday... getting ready for the cold weather sneaking up fast. Am i the only new englander that thinks it's gotten colder sooner this year?? Although my daughter is excited to see Jack Frost again... Lurve that christmas special...
I've got a few yummie recipes i'll share later... hopefully... unless i've hotglued my fingers together... which is a VERY real possibility!
