Howdy ya'll! I just thought I'd pop in and say hi. I hope everyone is well. I *so am over the PTA in case anyone is wondering. I want my life back! And Travis being home has really put a damper on my online time ;)
Good morning ladies, I have been absent for the past month but wanted to let you know that my lovely daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning. Mother, baby, dad and big brother are doing great.
Lindsay...it is not crazy in your area...in Michigan it would be crazy:) We are well, thanks:) Kids are gearing up for the holidays, I am gearing up to gear up for the holiday's...if you know what I mean:) Outside lights went up last night since it is 60 degrees around here...next comes tree...sigh, it always comes so fast anymore...
been busy hot-gluing my fingers together... damn that sh*t is hot! Getting ready for my first craft fair coming up soon. I had thought of another name for my friend and mine business... but the hubs poo-poo'd it... " Burlap Babes" fitting since we make alot of stuff using burlap... hubs said he didn't get the burlap part. *sheesh* men.
Keli ~ WOOHOOOOO ! congrats gammie ! and to mama and dad! i lurve new babies in the world.
Linds ~ i thought of you this morning... funny how you just popped in my head, and than you checked in... hope the pta let's you go soon and things smooth out. miss you round these parts... i love the idea of camping for tday... i'd have to wear long skivies and mucklucks... but i think it would be fun. We're planning a black powder shoot for tday morning... hubs has many antique black powder rifles and stuff that the boys are gonna go off and fire. (like the colonist's did ) should be fun !
SS ~ you are awesome in my book... already got your lights up ! i am chomping at the bit... but have promised myself not till the day after tday... than i am decorating like the old keri !! look out world... I think i still have 5 trees left that i kept through the move... and i have my eye on one more at target... ( i use to have 13, so i've parred down) But dammit i'm releasing the Christmas beast this year !! it's been two years since i went nutty... and i've got a tingle in my drawers to dec the fricken halls, walls, and balls !!
oh... and has anyone seen my fave new commercial???
I don't know how you do it all woman!! 13 tree's sounds like a recipe for xanax and copious amounts of alcohol to me;) Speaking of alcohol...no I have not seen said commercial..maybe I should hit youtube?? BTW...I love Burlap Babes...kinda makes me think burlesque:) hehe...tell hubs to shove a sock in it! Can't wait to see the crafts you come up with!
