Besides, what would a holiday be without the humidifier running and hacking coughs:) They are on the mend, so I am taking them to see Tangled today...they are super excited! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break from their everyday life. I so enjoyed preparing dinner then eating that dinner with my oldest son and his wife. It was so peaceful. Our deep fried turkey turned out beautiful and tasted great. The Pioneer Woman stuffing recipe was easy and tasted soooooo good. I worked lots of hours, so my check will be a good start on Christmas.

SS, no sunshine here, it is grey and overcast and so is my mood. I woke up with a migraine and it *hurts*. I have not had a headache like this in a long time, so I guess I have been lucky.
I hope everyone is having fun getting ready for the Christmas holiday. I will probably get my stuff out of the attic this week-end. I was going to do it today (my one free day this week), but I cannot face going up there with this head.

but i'm off to walmart this morning to buy my daughter a pink xmas tree. She saw it this weekend when we were perusing the xmas isles... and has chattered about it ALL weekend! I always had my own in my room with my own set of hand me down ornaments... so i love that she wants the same, without me even telling her that mama had one. Another Christmas=a=holic is born!
Shana... i gotta say... you truly are a nutball (said with deep love and respect) ... but damn girl... a puppy right before the holidays? and you don't drink??? ya'd have to pry the svedka from my frozen hand ! and people who say a doggie won't poop where it sleeps... bleep that... my ozzie was a champion poop spreader! he'd even move his steel apartment across the floor to spread more of his loveliness!!
It was the hubby's idea. *Had to have it. Want to think I'm really crazy? The day after we brought him home, I had SIX kids, ages 8-15, for the night. Then I had all 5 of our kids for a week. Between the teenagers staying up all night & the puppy keeping me up all night, I wasn't myself! Then Thanksgiving hit & I had to carry the little ankle biter to other people's houses with us AND 5 kids...eggnog anyone?? Ha!
