little girl is staying home from school today... has a rotten hacking cough that is lingering with us all. So a quiet comfy day is in order... oh, and i bribed her last night to return to her own bed by herself with ice cream today. So one trip to the store is necessary... cause that little girl doesn't forget!!
Hola Ladies!! Whew. getting caught up after being off Friday and Monday. San Francisco was fun this weekend. It did rain on Sunday, the day of our run but we had fun anyway. I was glad to get home. Hi Suz!! How did the run go? I am so amazed by people that run for fun...I would have to be chased by a man wielding a knife;) You go girl! The kiddo's are good...sleeping now, ahhhhhh!

*snort* there's too many days and minutes where i have to "act my age"... so where ever i can find a good stiffy is good for me!!
I have a cough that has settled into my lungs like that awful green germ comercial. yack. So i'm slower than the norm today... almost like i'm going backwards ;)
I've had one hell of a week, thus far. Monday, Logan met his bio dad for the first time ever. Tuesday, I had my nephew's neuro appointment. He's blind & now having seizure's. I came home from that & had to rush Jordan to urgent care. He has a staph infection on his chin. They were going to lance it without numbing & this momma said OH HELL NAW! I carried him to the ER yesterday & we were there for 7 freaking hours. They numbed & drained. Thank the Lawd for Lortab & lidocaine. He has been in so much pain. When I redressed it at bed time, it was pouring green again. I have to call this morning because they tried to go the less invasive route & not go so deep that they had to put packing or a drain in...I think it's going to have to have a drain =( There is nothing worse than seeing your kid in that much pain. His face is so swollen that he can't move his neck & barely open his mouth. He's a happy drunk though! He told me he loved me forty bazillion times on the way home & everyone that rang my cell, he loooved them too ;) Silly boy ♥
Shana!! For the love of pete girl!! I am so sorry that you have been dumped on this week...Yikes! I will pass the Don Julio...(Lindsey, where are you??) I am so sorry about your nephew, hoping the neurologist can do something to help. As for Jordan...my goodness, that is a sucky thing for a mama to have to deal with...I hope his infection clears up quickly...scary stuff, for sure! Hugs!!
Stripey- Don't, I repeat, Don't suffer if you seem to be getting worse...Pneumonia is sucky...you know this of course...don't let it go too long!!
Awww... Love the looovvve part, but so sorry for the little guy and his mama. ((hugs)) hope the infection clears up real damn quick !
SS ~ I spoke with the pedi and there's a nasty dragging cough going around everywhere... it just really takes me out... when you're down a 1/2 a lung it sucks to cough up the other 1/2. Need a hot bath, tall glass of svedka, and a juicy design magazine. Simple pleasures...
