  2. SS, the weather here is also gorgeous! I love fall weather. I am busy getting ready for my trip, doing laundry, little yard work, cleaning out the refrig and cupboards of any food that might spoil (I give it to my youngest son, he calls it shopping at the store of 'Mom').

    Been pretty quiet around here lately. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather with their families.

  3. Hi Ladies...Just popping into to say hi !!

    I love the cartoon - I remember Hadyen taking tampons and putting them in his ears and nose once when we had company. Hmmmm a little embarrassing.

    We are busy but who isn't now a days. Life is good and everyone is healthy and happy !! Sophie is crawling so nothing is safe anymore. Laila is being "2" and can be a handful some days.

    Hayden auditioned and made the boys choir here in Calgary so has a lot of practices for that as they perform quite a few times a year. It was super expense so Faruq has warned him if he ever wants to quit he will make him sing at the mall every weekend until the debt is paid off. :}

    Have fun on your night out Soshayna - Mama's definitely need a break away from the little ones. Thanks for stopping by my little blog the other day and leaving a sweet comment !

    Keli - Where are you going? Sounds like it's for awhile. Safe travels my friend. :}

    Hi to everyone else and I will pop in again !!

  4. Hi Michelle, it is great to hear from you and catch up on what is happening in your life. My daughter is having her second baby (first one is now 15 months old) the end of this month, so I am headed to New England to help her get ready and spend some time with her and her family. I will be gone until after Thanksgiving. It will be great to be in New England again, I miss living there.

    Cannot believe Sofie is crawling, seems like she was just born! Good luck with that 2 year old, they are such a challenge, but so much fun at the same time. I hope your son enjoys singing. Music is so great, all mine played instruments and I loved attending all the events.

    The laundry is calling me. BBL.

  5. Hiya !

    wow... Sofie is crawling ! I swear she was just born too ! Love that your boy joined choir, great for the soul.

    I am busy putting together the supplies for feeding my "babysitter" overnight Saturday... Going to make a Harvest Chicken salad and spicy Curry pumpkin soup for lunch
    White Chicken Lasagna and ceasar salad for dinner.
    And baked Cream Cheese stuffed French toast for breakfast.
    That way all mema has to do is throw something in the oven to reheat.
    ((hoping if i make it super luxury hotel like she'll beg to do it again... atleast that's the hope))

    SS , I heard from a marriage specialist that a hubby and wife should have atleast one overnight just themselves a year... Man, i'd love that !!

    Hope everyone is happy happy like wearing your fave pair of comfy pants while your kids nap...

  6. Stripey-wouldn't it be great if the planets aligned and we got a night out every month or so?? I have to say that I have been getting my share lately...maybe even more...part of that is my ability to let go a little more and leave my kids more often...I would soooo beg to watch your kiddo's with a menu like that:)

    Hi Michelle- You are welcome, your new blog layout is really pretty and my oldest loves the song:)

    Keli-how exciting on the new baby and trip, hope you have a blast!!
