Ok... having gone to see "Jackass" this weekend... i just about spit my coffee at this pic this morning. Two freaking funny.
Hubs and i snuck away for a movie and dinner. He started coming down with the "house cold" in the afternoon, so his company was less than stellar by night's end. But we still had a nice night. Why are men such babies when they get sick??? Like their arms are falling off when they start snuffling? But us mom's have to pick our arms back up, duct tape em on, and make breakfast for the troops?? <--- shaking head...
Today we have our refi closing ! Woo F*ing hoo... We'll get to clear up the mortgage mess AND the extra money we had to take out to pay funeral expenses. The house got appraised an extra 35k cause of the 3 car garage my hubs built completely by himself. Super proud of him.
Anyone doing anything for Halloween???
Usually i'm syked about it, but this year it seems just a bridge to another holiday... I hope I can s.l.o.w down enough to enjoy all the other days and holidays.

Stripey- Yeah for the refinance...hope it goes off without a hitch and whoo-hoo to hubs garage...sounds like he has some skills too!! I am glad to hear you got out again...bummer about the big baby;) Isabelle has her pre-school pictures today and her halloween party on Friday..she is soooo excited...enough for all of us..haha
Hey Ladies!! SC, congrats on the refi..I know you will be so glad to have that done. It is such a pain in butt. Men.sick. Yes, they do tend to be babies don't they?? (leans in and whispers) My boss is the worst, he really milks the I am sick thing. Kind of bugs me but, he is so good to me what can I say? but bigggg baby to be sure :) SS,oh pictures and a Halloween party for your girl this week, she will be ramped up won't she?

SS, my boy is doing ok. My hubs did some reading on diet, household chemicals and fighting cancer. So we changed some things in his diet and I am using more pet friendly cleaners. But he reminded me at the end of the day, he is sick and will eventually succumb to it. So, all this to say he is still with me and "seems" to be doing alright. :) Thanks for asking! Had a fun jammie day yesterday. Stayed on the couch and watched foot ball..good day!
SS, thanks friend! You may have said in another post, what are your girls going to be for Halloween? I remember, back in the day when I was in kiddygarten, our little country school did a halloween parade. All the littles(k-3rd grade)got to march out in front of all the big kids to show off our costumes.lol..makes me smile now. We thought we were hot stuff, the big kids played along with it too. Silly little memory :)
My girls are all about the princesses this year...I have a Belle (fitting for Isabelle) and Chloe is Sleeping Beauty AKA Aurora...they already trick-or-treated when we went camping, but I will probably let them go to the neighbors if it isn't too cold...darn Midwest weather:( Cute memory...the pre-school is doing a parade through-out the city building where it is located...should be cute:)
my little girl is gonna be Scooby Dooby DOO again this year (she is still in LURVE with him) and i just got the supplies for my little boy's costume... Last year he was Freddy from Scooby doo (yes, the girl's idea) but this year i thought i'd do something different for him... and it hit me while watching one of my fave shows

i know... wierd... But my son is gonna be a cowboy bull rider. Complete with black faux leather chaps with fluffy red swingy trim. A Cowyboy vest with his name on the back. white button down shirt and black n red cowboy boots.
I am so excited to start making it! I even envision gold metal button details
Hey gals...things have been crazy & I apologize for not updating. I seriously just feel like system overload, but I'm hangin'. Jordan is still home today. He started running fever again last night, but he *is getting better. He's having to take less pain medicine & it looks *so much better. The infection moved down into his lymph node & that was pretty scary. The lymph node looks worse than the incision site now, but it's just because it made it so hard & swollen. He will be going back to school tomorrow & really is doing better. It's just taking some time.

Hey SS, hope picture day goes well. The kindergarten pics are always hilarious. Logan sucked in his bottom lip & Jordan did this goofy forced smile. Gotta love it!
Logan got his costume this weekend & he's going as a SWAT officer. He has a hat with SWAT on it & a bulletproof vest. It has a leg holster & he's going to use Rick's handcuffs. I'm going to take the different pouches off of Rick's gun belt & slide them on Logan's belt. He's excited. We are going to carve his pumpkin tonight.
