  3. I think Jeanette has been having internet trouble =( I just texted her, because I haven't talked to her in a while & that's unusual.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

  5. ok... my first "daisy" meeting is tonight... just a bit nervous as to what to expect... the parents in my village are ... welll... different. in.every.sense.of.the.word

hoping it goes smooth, my baby makes friends, and i don't embarass myself...

  6. Stripey- deep breaths...you will be fine:) You don't have to make best friends, but it will be nice to know who your daughter's friends parents are;) Besides- who wouldn't like you???

Shana- Thanks for the update...tell Jeanette, Hey! She is missed...all the fellowshippers are!

  7. wow... living in a 'village' is still shocking sometimes... there were a total of 4 girls. 2 were the daughters of the girl scout leader, one her fellow busdriver, and than mine... the only kindergartner. After a full 5 mins the very nice scout leader was telling me that they were already looking for someone to lead next year or they wouldn't have a troop. sheesh. But my daughter had a blast... made a bracelet that she's over the moon about and is waiting for the next meeting.
I did get to meet one other parent of my daughter's ... who poked her head in to inquire about signing her daughter up. I hope i didn't scare her with my enthusiam about another kinder joining... especially one that my daughter already speaks about.

Having rough few days lately... super tired and in a bit of a rut... trying to figure out what can 'jar' me out of it. Even went to bed at 930 last night, but still woke up wiped. Anybody have any secrets of how they get ahead? or a jump out of the blues?
((besides retail therapy, which i've already tried...))

  8. Stripey...the weather changing is getting me too! It will feel a little better when the time changes, but in the meantime, get a little exercise...a walk outside in the sunshine or a little yoga if you can...all else fails, pour yourself a stiff one;) Hugs! Hope the poke your head in mom enlists her girl in the daisies:)

Morning ladies! I love the days in between school days where I can savor my coffee and not be on a "schedule"...not sure how I will do it next year when school starts an hour earlier...ugh!

I think i'm gonna take a walk with the kidlets in the fields this afternoon. We really don't do that enough. and the weather is a'changing already. Heat's been kicking off and on all day... and temp is only set at 64 degrees.

    *giggle* SS said stiff one...
