It is still raining here and we are floating away! Some areas of this state have had 20 inches of rain in the past 4 days. The 'up side' we no longer have 90 degree temps!
I hope all you ladies have a great week-end. I am busy preparing for my trip to New England. Only 10 more days and I will be on the road!
Hiya Missie! you're 'missed' around here. Hope life is getting a little smoother for you.
I'm waiting for the weather to break to make a quick run to the grocery store... have barely enough milk for my morning coffee and it is gonna get nasty if mama doesn't have enough coffee.
Does anyone else feel that Midnight and 5 am are not friends?? couldn't sleep last night and the little girl is a night owl... egads... I hope if i drool in public some one will tell me...
licking my wounds and adjusting to my new age today... Birthday's are funny things sometimes... like double edged swords. Started the day with a dream i spoke to my dad... and than found he had emailed me... hasn't said happy birthday in 7 yrs... even the year we were speaking.
*sniff* it's ok shana... i know you still love me even though you forgot about me... *sniff* ;)
My dad has a way of a back hand comment... it read happy birthday, we still love you despite what you may think... it just sent me into an emotional tizzy that i am so trying to avoid... it sucks the wind out of you and i couldn't sleep all night, so today i am "mack-training" it. ( a combo of a mack truck and a train hitting me at once) my body F*ing sucks today... but dammit... i'm gonna smile and eat lots of yummie apple pie and play in my craft room.
Cause this morning my little ones smiled, hugged me, and played dough with me... and that's what it's about.
I wanted to let you ladies know I will be unplugged until next Monday. I will check in from my phone but it is a true PITA to post from it. I might find a hotspot sometime this week to blog and if I do I'll pop in and say hello!
