is it wrong that i dressed my little girl in footie pj's so she cant access the dozen or so bumps to scratch n spread? When i was a kid I got the pox from my sis who got it from our big sis... so my mom had THREE kids in a row with pox... no wonder she drank. Was always the worst when you got it near your eyes...
and can i just say how ironic it is that in the same year Mama and daughter get chicken pox?? I mean wtf universe??
So a week out of school atleast... and this mama without groceries.... not even an egg to scramble or bake bread with. REALLY wish there was some kind of grocery delivery system in my area now!!
plus just found out my fil is coming to visit Saturday... so much for my sleeping in day... the ONE day i get a year... well, maybe mama day too...
off to shower n scrub... and put together a "honey u better get these groceries before i go insane and hunt squirrels" list...
Oh no! Keri, I am so sorry!! Yikes! I have scars around my eyes & one right smack dab in the middle of my eyes from the pox. My brother has a matching scar, but not from the pox. It was from an accident with a metal vacuum cleaner pole. I accidentally annoyed him by screeching my hands down a balloon & when he took it from me, I whacked him right between the eyes with the pole ;) Not so accidental, huh? Ha!
Hang in there, Momma!!
I'm in a mood with lot's on my mind. I need to get in the shower & get to my doctor's appointment. It's chilllly here this morning though & I'm freeeezing! The thought of getting in the shower makes me shiver! It was 45 when I got up, eeek!
I Lurve your meaning of "accidental"... like i accidentally on purpose whomped you silly... love it! wow for the 45degrees ! i'm in jeans and a tank top cause it's humid warm out... getting ready to make a dash to the post office... (remember i live in a 'village' not a town... so the chances of there being even one other living soul other than a spider there are soooo remote)
i do have one problem though... i am without a new magazine going on a week now... i think i'm getting the 'shakes'...
SC- So I take it you don't have a 7-11 where you could run in and pick up a mag and some eggs, eh? bummer...that sucks to be stuck at home without groceries...especially a hamster brain like you...you are probably poring over recipes and concocting substitutions as we speak;)
Shana- I remember those types of sibling fights...my sister and I gave some wicked wompings to each other...I have some pox scars too...one on my cheek:( It is little though and I am really the only one who know's it is there, well, other than my mom:) Brrrr....45...how did you get my crappy weather??
Howdy girls! I swear I am gonna bitch slap ya'all if you don't quit complaining about the cold weather! :D...Just kidding, I am going to turn the a/c down to 60 and put my coat and mukluks on and pretend it is cold! Hope everyone has a great day today. SC, hope the little one does not itch too bad. Shana, Hope your appointments go ok today. And it is ok to be in a mood. SS Good morning :)
SS ~ 7-11 haha... we have a sudo one... but i really don't feel like paying 10 bucks for a carton of eggs... and i think all their mags are the 'sticky' kind...
oh, and yes... the hamster is b.u.s.y ... and i'm even a bit scared of him...
No pox scars here... but mega sister beat down scars... we're talking burns, concussions, and almost drownings... and those were the good times ;)
Suz, my insane hubbie started a fire last night... it was 75 degrees outside ! but he's a nut when it comes to lighting a fire to relax. It's just odd to watch all the leaves fall when it's warm outside.
Suz- I would love to stop complaining about the cold weather....BUT I CAAAAANNN'TTT! Seriously! I hate winter soooo much, I can't even put it into words for you...well, I guess I sorta did:)
SC haha and ewwwww! I would avoid the "sticky" mags too! Yuck!
SS!! HA! I really don't know what it is like to have bad cold winters. We lived in Oregon for a year, it was cold and rainy but I loved it. The snow..Yeah, that would probably be a different story. SC, Hope you can get to the real store and get your mag fix.. no sticky ones yuck!
I am dreading winter this year too... i love the first few snow falls all pretty and white, then realization whomps me like a brick and i realize we moved to "hell of a long driveway on the side of a mountain land". Sucks wild turkey balls!
Good morning lovelies!!! I get to sit here with an extra cup of coffee this am...no kiddo to schlep to pre-school:) So lazy day for us. Big little Miss has a field trip to the apple orchard tomorrow...Little, little Miss is going to stay at my parents tonight...ahhhh, the peace of no bickering or grappling over toys! Hope you all have a wonderful day!! BBL
I could seriously do freaking cartwheel's about now. The house right next door to me has been empty forEVAH & we have given the stink eye to a few of the people that have looked at it. Our last neighbor was great until her thugged out, hoodrat kids came to live with her & brought their entire posse with them too, ugh. I saw a fellow firefighter looking at the house a few weeks back & his pregnant wife. Rick & I have had our fingers crossed & I just found out through a mutual friend that they are closing on the house TODAY!!! Score!
*Blush* Just found out he's a cop, not a firefighter. The guy that was with him that day was the firefighter. Now we will have cops on both sides of us!
Uh-oh Shana- now you have to keep the blinds closed:) haha Not sure what the law is on keeping spider monkkeys in your neck of the woods:) Glad you seem to be getting reputable neighbors...hope they stay that way!
Hola Peeps!! I have been knee deep in frick'n contracts and paperwork ALL DAY... I think I have lost my marbles :P Shana, glad you get to have new neighbors,I hated having vacant homes in our neighborhood. We had one behind us empty for about a 1-1/2 years. The swimming pool was so disgusting! Keri, you reminded me with your hot glue gun finger comment about the time I got superglue on my teeth and lips..Yeah don't ask.. Now you know why I am not crafty:) Keli, I understand the weather in NC has been wicked. Not sure you are there or New England now, but hope you are safe and well. Ok got to shuffle back to the paperwork shuffle, blech. Wish Lindsay was around, she could pass me the Don Julio from the flask! LOL
yes, tell linds I say "hello" too... miss her humor too!
I've been a busy little hamster today... messing up my craft room. But feel accomplished... made two wreaths and helped my friend come up with a name for her business. happy me!
Windy tired and itchy... so good night from new england!!
