  1. is it sad that i know what the real bunghole is... as pertaining to liqour? ...

    i.am.not.awake.

little girl waking you up several times a night only to have your hubbie snore, the room ice cold, and a banging headache... makes 5:30 super suck in the morning. Wondering if anyone at school will care if i wear my pj's and don't bother with the broom head that makes Slash the guitarist look good...

  2. Awww, Stripey...sorry for the sucky nights sleep.
My little girl caught a cold and has to skip what would have been her first day of preschool without me:(
Taking hubs to the DR today to follow up on the seizures...not expecting it to be too informative.

Hope you all have a great day!

    Hugs!

Cute toon Shana---SC...clue me in on the bunghole liquors joke.

  3. A bunghole is the hole in the cask that the wine or liquor tap goes into after the plug is knocked out.

went grocery shopping hungry... that was quite dumb on my part.

  6. good morning ladies!
    Wherever you may be!

Does anybody else like the gray, white, and yellow combination? with a little black thrown in?

hubbie said it's wierd... but so is he.

    Cleaning and painting today... woohoo.
Anybody doing any canning out there? Need some ideas and pointers... would love to get into it... but need to 'dip my feet' in the process. My parents were HUGE canners when i was growing up, but i don't remember what was easy vs. hard.
    (that's what she said)

  9. Good Morning All!
SC I love the gray, white yellow & black. I still want to do my guest room like that. Sadly, I have no $$$ to do it right now. Sandy was our canner around here I think, but she does not come here any more :(. Or maybe she visits but does not post.
I want to can too. I made jelly for the first time this weekend and it came out pretty good. I have done 3 batches of jalepeno jelly but want to try other stuff.
    Good morning SS!

  10. Suz ~ What does jalepeno jelly taste like... and what do you use it on?? so curious.

i have succesfully burned the tiplets of my fingers off... with hot glue. man, i forgot how much 'fun' a hot glue gun is... ((massive sarcasm here)

  11. SC, I confess I had never eaten jalepeno jelly until I made mine. A few of my friends love it and put it over cream cheese so you get the hot taste of the jelly and the cool cream cheese.I have not tried it that way yet. Another friend of mine puts it on flautas which I think is like a taquito. So I just put it on a cracker to try it. I am not sure what else to do with it. NOT for breakfast with your toast and peanut butter that is for sure!
Sandy had a recipe back on her old blog long time ago for canning salsa. I want to try that one. I love salsa and to have it fresh year round...yum.

  12. Hi girls! My modem pooped out on my yesterday and I had zero internet access all day, except from my phone of course. I called the cable people and they put me off until Thursday, so I was really sad. Then this morning, my internet is working! It's a Tuesday miracle I tell ya!
