  2. Hey Keli! Hopefully they are all out having a beautiful Friday!! I'm about to head out to WalMart...I know, exciting. Brady is going to his granny's tonight, Jordan is going to a football game & bringing a friend home to spend the night & Logan will just be the left out little loner I guess. Poor little guy =( I have some free passes that I won to the local indoor inflatables place. Maybe he & I will have a date night there!

  3. Hi Keli! Happy Friday!
Hey Shana, sounds like a fun thing to do with Logan!! Have fun :)

I am "sick" today.:P I took the day off to just hang out. I went to Macy's and spent a litte $$ on myself which I never do. I refuse to feel guilty about it too! After all...I am sick LOL!

Hope everyone has a good weekend !!

  4. Good Saturday morning ladies. Today is our 91st day of over 90 degree temps and I am so done with this weather. The say tomorrow will only be 74, yep 74! We are 10 inches below the annual rainfall, so everything is dry, brown and crunchy.
We are supposed to get rain tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday....I am keeping my fingers crossed that they are right!

I hope you are all enjoying your week-end. I am off to work. BBL

  10. Jeanette, I am so sorry to hear about your friend losing his life fighting a fire. It is never easy to put into perspective why these things happen. I will keep you and his family in my thoughts.

Suz, I agree, who ever heard of 90 degree temps in October. I moaned all winter about the cold, this year I will take what I get and be happy.

Shana, I hope you are feeling well and happy.

I am watching the clouds roll in, and praying it will start raining soon.

  13. J-:( What a tragic thing...one of my best friends is a firefighter and 7 men just got critically injured a month or so ago...puts everything in perspective. So sad seeing someone lose their lives protecting ours. I am so sorry for your loss and the tremendous loss to your friend's family...many prayers!

I am sorry for you all still dealing with the heat wave...but it is damn cold her today...ugh! I HATE winter!!!

  14. Thanks for all the kind words, ladies. As a said a few weeks ago, this time of year is rough for me anyway and Ryan's death is now another to add to the list. I cant remember if I mentioned this before or not, but my dad lost a friend of his a few weeks ago... someone I had known all my life and considered family. The details of his death made it an even sadder occasion and now with Ryan passing so suddenly on top of everything else... its messing with my psyche. I keep remembering the adage that death happens in threes and I am driving myself insane waiting and worrying about it.

Soshayna, its chilly here today too. I'm in a hoodie and sweatpants with no plans on changing today. I hate winter with every fiber of my being and would rather have another c-section unmedicated than have snow in my yard. That said, I absolutely love Fall! I'm trying to find an orchard to visit with the kids and we are planning on going to the pumpkin patch in October. The kids will have a great time and I can get some pics!
